About Dr. Jennifer Olson
Jennifer Olson, MD, FAPA, is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist based in Eugene, OR. She completed her medical education at the University of Minnesota Medical School followed by her general psychiatry residency and child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. During her training, she served as both chief resident and chief fellow for the program. Dr. Olson has served at the national level for the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Growing up on a sheep farm in a rural Oregon community, she has experienced firsthand that life can be unpredictable. As a mom, Dr. Olson knows how important it is for families to have support and feel heard. Over her 16+ years of practice, she has participated in a variety of healthcare settings and worked with a diverse range of patients. She values being able to meet families where they are at and reducing barriers to care through telemedicine.
